The historic tram 41 in Prague offers a unique journey through the city’s rich past, making it a must-visit attraction. This tram route, which runs from May to September on weekends and public holidays, allows passengers to experience Prague in a nostalgic and charming way.
Starting from this depot, tram 41 travels through the heart of Prague, passing by significant landmarks such as Prague Castle, Malostranské náměstí, the National Theatre, and Wenceslas Square. The route ends at Republic Square, near the iconic Powder Tower. This scenic journey showcases the most picturesque and historically important streets of Prague.
A ride on the historic line costs 100 CZK for adults and 60 CZK for children up to 15, students, and seniors over 65 years. These prices apply for a one-way trip. Tickets are bought from the conductor, meaning regular Prague public transport passes are not valid on the historic tram.

How to Get to the Museum
We decided to make our route more challenging and went to the museum on foot through Prague Castle. It’s not the shortest or easiest way, but the views are stunning. Plus, the amazing old quarters are totally uncrowded.
But a more convenient way is to take tram No.1, 2, 25, 97, or 97, directly to the Vozovna Střešovice stop. The museum is only a couple of minutes away.
